Be careful out there!
Or we could call you Nub. Heh. Back when I was in university the first time, I had no qualms drinking at any particular time of day. My favorite time was right around sundown, though. Ahh. Sitting on a deck or patio with a cold beer and a cigarette. Those were the days .... *sigh*

We had a pool party. still got all my toes, which is more than can be said for the dead bird it appears next door's mower found a little earlier and generously shared with mine. Still 3 more stripes to go -ran out of gas, just waiting for it to cool to refill

I once drank a whole jug of margaritas in my pool.
Then I had to have a nap...and snore...on the couch...at 4pm... I don't think I'd have been mowing. lol

I never drink until after five. Unless it's before five.
SRSLY, I have the 5 o'clock rule on weekdays, but on the weekends (esp working around the house) I start when I get thirsty.

I had a husband one time who just drank non-stop all weekend. He'd go to sleep for a few hours, wake up and start it again, day or night, he didn't care. :p

All his days have been shitty, poor guy. He's got a problem and can't admit it. At 50, he's washed up, broke, and in bad health. You know you've fscked up badly if the only person left to help you in this world is your ex-wife.

Even when I was downing enough to float the QE2 I could still be slain by afternoon drinking.
Although I admit it sometimes sparked a fit of industry, like yours did Monnie. |

My rule is 9 p.m.
I do make exceptions, though. I might start an hour or two earlier at parties, cookouts, and campouts. And I always drink starting around noonish if we go canoeing. For some reason it doesn't get to me then like other times, at least till we get back to shore and I get dried off and SOMEONE ELSE drives home. I like the idea of margaritas in the pool though! I may have to try that, if my pool water ever gets above 75°F. Which it will, 'cause we just put the solar cover on, so there! |
