One year for vacation we rented a condo that had an open area that was two stories tall. I dunno where the kids picked up wall walkers, but they had a lot of fun with them on that large wall.

They were hilarious. I have a clear recollection of throwing them at the wall, I remember the distinct spot on the wall I used to use.
Until they picked up too much dust and dirt...even after rinsing they were never the same. But still, there is something oddly cheerful and comforting about Wacky Wall Walkers.

I don't know... I think there have been a lot of advances in Wacky Wall Walker technology. The early Wall Walkers, even before my time, were nothing more than balls of tape. Sorta sticky, but hardly wacky. When I was a kid (and remember, I'm a lot older than you) the Wall Walker technology had advanced quite a bit, but I don't think the "ever-goo" was introduced on the scene until the mid 90's.

I don't know what it is, but I'm glad my girls never heard about ever-goo.

(Did I mention this before? Search says no.)
When I was in elementary school, I had to write an essay from the point of view of a future archaeologist describing a modern item. I chose a Wacky Wall Walker. Even at that tender age, I knew that, if an archaeologist has no idea what something is for, it must be a religious artifact [via].

Heyyyyyy, you might be on to something. Note the resemblance between Wacky Wall Walker and FSM. Coincidence? I think not.
