I hate that I have to post this, but Douglas Adams died of a heart attack today in his Santa Barbara home, at the age of 49 years old. Anyone who's ever read the innacurately named Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy knows what a great mind was lost today. If you've ever wondered what the answer to life, the universe, and everything is, or thought that maybe you could fly if you simply fell and missed the ground, I ask that you take a moment of silence or raise a glass to his memory.

Follow-Up
May 25th is towel day in memory of Douglas Adams. Next Friday, carry a towel with you...carry 42 of 'em if you can, I'm, personally, making mine 42"^2.
Article here: http://www.binaryfreedom.com/content.php?content_id=46 _____________ A towel is the most cosmically useful thing ever created. |
