Dennis the Menace is 60
The British Dennis, that is.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-12770341 Banana Lady buys the Beano for the kids and brings them over when she visits. We haven't really seen anything like it here. The kids read it cover to cover many times, and even quote from it, to the bemusement of all around them. I was a member of the Dennis the Menace fan club when I was a kid and got the Beano every week, and I have a huge red and black striped sweater with a picture of Dennis on that I wear when I'm sick and cold. I love that Dennis has managed to survive even though everything about him is not PC. The article touches on the changes that have been made to keep him off the banned list. ![]()

That is weird. On March 12th OUR Dennis was 60, or so say Wiki.
I totally missed that. I would've shot people with slingshots to celebrate. |

Yeah, they were a coincidental release just a few days apart. No connection though. The British one would have already gone to press before the first US one was released.
Bizarre or what? One of those moments of synchronicity.
