Enough. It was cute the first time.

Haha! V funny V!!
The list of things I'm over is pretty long, but I agree with foot. I'm sick of instagram pics also. I have an old school fb friend who posts multiple pics most days (yes she's one of those 'my life is so great just look at it' type people). Anyway, I'm thinking of having a fb cull pretty soon. There are some people who are just toxic to me and they need to go. Not necessarily because of anything they do or say to me on purpose. It's just that I've grown up enough to realise their posts create negative emotions and thought processes in me, and until I become zen enough, I need to not see it. Would be great if I could just not be bothered, but at least I'm starting to recognise my triggers, so that's a good thing I guess. That's what I'm going to tell myself anyway.

Too much nastiness masquerading as humour. And altogether too much crystal waving, angel bothering and name divining for my tastes. Also: I care that my cousin has lovely kids and a great husband. I do. I do not wish to see their every developmental path, through every picture they daub, and every yoghurt they spill. I do not need to be privy to their inter couple cute talk. You live in the same fucking house, you're a room away from each other, just whisper into each other's ears. Leave me the fuck out of it.

I'm SO over needing to sort out my room, and packing for tomorrow.
Ffwd to 19.00 Thursday when I am leaving the house. And no, it's really not all that bad. It's a few piles of clothes to make decisions over - I'm having a clothes cull at the same time. But it's so weary because of the rain and the grey and the feeling that I should be walking around furniture showrooms looking for bargains. It's the worst Bank Holiday of the year, to the extent that it feels like a chore rather than a day off.

I am SO over this cold. OK, not completely. But no longer feel like death warmed over and now my nose isn't leaking like a 1977 Dodge Dart.
Unfortunately, I gave my wife my cold. I just went to Harry and David's and ordered 10 pounds of pears to be delivered next week along with an apology. Hopefully some Vitamin C will help. It was worth the $20 and more practical than roses. One thing about the post-holiday season is that it's easy to find gifts at reasonable prices.

At 2:50 this afternoon, I had no fewer than three of my children openly sobbing at me over different problems all at once.

Heh... If it had kept up for much longer, I might have. Instead I led them out into the cold with the hope that their tear ducts would freeze.

Snow, ice, and cold. Ordinarily I like Winter, but I'm over it.
