Is this a British shooting technique I'd never heard of?

Guessing he's left eye dominant but the director wanted him to hold the pistol with his right hand.

The optic nerve (2nd cranial nerve) crosses over to the opposite brain hemisphere; thus, left eye target acquisition yields right brain response in the form of kill them all, let God sort them out while right handed shooting correlation to left brain speech lateralization yields methodical accuracy to ensure all of them get killed. The technique is taught to MI6 level operators.
I just made that up. Sounds good though doesn't it? |

When does bow season open for you guys, Foot? Our (KY's) bow season started first Saturday in September.

Hmmm... Hanging a deer carcass in the 80-90 degree range makes for tender meat but...

Heh, this time of year, it hangs only for the time it takes to get the hide off. Then straight to the cooler/fridge/freezer.
In fact, if you're reasonably certain you're killing one, you take a bag(s) of ice to the hunting spot, and it goes (bag & all) in the carcass directly after the field dressing.

Bow opens Oct. 1-Nov 20, regular season opens Nov. 21-Dec. 13, late bow/muzzle opens Dec.14-22
I also just got two additional spots for bow hunting (or rifle). Where I rifle hunt I can't bow hunt because of the adjacent landowners. (They wouldn't let me retrieve deer from their property if they run over there.) The new spot seems to be great. Lots of apple trees...

Did a walk through near the stand, it needs a bit of maintenance and some branches need trimming. I also downloaded an altimeter app that shows your coordinates/location (DMS or decimal) so I walked off the area visible from my tree stand to make a more accurate map of yardage. Not that I needed to, more for "because I can."
Getting stoked.
