I was just perusing some of the Virginia results.
Some close ones in the House of Delegates. The total voting in each district was in the range of 20,000 to 30,000 votes. Yancey vs. Simonds victory margin of 12 votes Robinson v. Barnet victory margin of 124 Thomas v. Cole victory margin of 86 Adams v. Loupassi victory margin of 326 Tanner v. Hugo victory margin of 68 I bet there are a lot of woulda, coulda, shoulda thoughts this morning. Mostly, I'm glad it's over. It was like I was being assaulted by this election for the past month. Canvassers came to my front door on 5 occasions. Obama even called me twice. |

Interestingly, to me it looks like "third parties" essentially almost overthrew the system from within in 2016. Sanders was squashed, but remains a leadership role; whereas Trump literally destroyed the establishment and continues to aggressively dismantle the system. Sanders was literally a third party, and Trump is functionally one.
