Finger Food Ideas

I'm planning a smallish get together and would like to have some 'interesting' finger foods, other than the standard run of the mill veggie trays and such.

Would anyone be willing to share the recipes for their favorites?

With good Jello shooters everything else won't matter.
Deep fried twinkies.
Mushroom caps stuffed with anything.
Mmmmm...cheese.
Black olives stuffed with peanut butter.

Tea sandwiches are labor intensive, but often go over quite nicely. You can get a bunch of cool shaped cookie cutters to cut them out with.

Bruchetta! slice a wack of baguette roundies and lightly toast.
chop some tomaties, crush some garlic, fresh basil bits in some olive oil. Spoon a bit on each breadlet and munch.

Cheese! Get some mild soft brie and dump some sweet kinda fruity chutney over top, let the mob schemere their own fancy crackers.

If you go for Asian flavors, this is an easy dip/dressing: (all amounts guestimated) 1 1/2c light mayo + 1tblsp dijon + 1/4 c soy sauce + dribble of chili oil to temp (the dressing is cool, so you can take more heat than you think) + dribble of magic sesame oil = an interesting veggie dip (sugar snap peas, carrots, anythang) or you can toss a pasta/ soba salad with it.

Sushi, its true, is the ultimate! Not in my realm of skill, but maybe someday. I was hypnotized by an amazing sushi chef at Sushi Samba in Miami. Like a freakin groupie leaning on my elbows steaming up the glass shield. Sigh.
