easier way: when replying, click go advanced, then type the text, highlight it, and click the little button that has a globe .....copy/paste your url, ...voila~!

Carbonated_Brains- I'm not clear on why there's two formats: (space inserted) < a href= and [ URL= |

<b>Gromitspapa</b>
One of those formats applies specifically to this message board, the Cellar. Only use [ URL= when you're posting a message onto the cellar, and perhaps other message boards. It's special code just for this software. If you're trying to make a webpage in GENERAL, use the < a href= type. This is a "tag", or segment of code, in a scripting language called HTML. So, square brackets for the Cellar, angle brackets for making web pages. To FURTHER confuse you....the square brackets AND the angle bracket type both work in the cellar. They do the same thing. But you can't use square brackets to make webpages! |
