From the little European cafe downstairs: Salmon Caesar wrap, frites with curry sauce, and a ginger beer. The wrap was too skimpy on the salmon, but otherwise it was a perfect lunch.

salad ... and more salad. A friend is staying with us for a few months and both she and I purchased 2 very large tubs of spinach and baby greens... sooo salad...that is pretty much all that is in the fridge at this point. The kids are gonna hate me, but I'm gonna keep serving it every meal until we are down to one tub.

I dunno, but it needs to present itself fast, I have to go out again in half an hour. What do you mean get it myself? sheesh. In that case there's a high probablility of eggs, bacon and hash browns again. Willpower, where are you?

Have been having trouble eating big meals (for once!)
Don't know if it's the actual cough or the antibiotics.

So lunch was a couple of grapes and a Strawberry Squash-Em (soft plastic strawberry filled with fromage frais - you suck it out via the hole in the top)

The again, the 'rents croissants were going stale, so at their invitation I had two for breakfast, which probably made a difference.

Right now i am having a late lunch (8pm) of chickpea, carrot and coriander soup.

In an hour and a half the chicken I threw in the oven should be roasted

I have potatoes, carrots and half a tin of peas. Nice and simple.

And Pilau will no doubt enjoy sharing in the feast.
